General german courses

Regular courses
  • 7-week modules
  • 2 sessions per week
  • 90-minute sessions
  • classes are held before 5 pm or in the evening (starting 5.40 pm or 7.30 pm)
Intensive courses
  • one module is 3 1/2 weeks long
  • 4 sessions per week
  • one session is 2 1/2 hours long (includes a 15-minute break)
  • classes are held up to 5 pm
How do I register ?
  • by filling in the enrolment form
  • by taking a language test to assess your level of German; allow one hour for the written paper followed by a short interview with one of our German teachers.

The German Conversation Club is an excellent opportunity to chat with fellow students, while guided by our German language teachers. We are meeting every Monday at MGM(Bastion) starting 9.30 pm.

International Certificates of German

ExamPlus organizes preparation courses for the following certificates:

  • Zertifikat Deutsch
  • Goethe-Zertifikat B2
  • Goethe-Zertifikat C1
How do I register ?
  • There is an ongoing enrolment for all preparation courses.
  • To enrol on a prep course, you need to sit a mock test.
  • After the test, should you need further practice to be at the level required for the exam, the teachers at ExamPlus will advise you on what general course you need to do first.
What will I do on the course ?
  • learn about the exam format
  • assimilate essential exam techniques for each paper
  • undergo regular testing that enables the teacher to monitor your progress and identify problem areas
How long is the prep course ?
  • Zertifikat Deutsch (level B1): 8 sessions
  • Goethe-Zertifikat B2 and Goethe-Zertifikat C1: 10 sessions
  • the preparation takes place within a week, with one or two sessions per day
  • each session is 90 minutes long
  • at the end, you will have to sit a mock test

4 Steps to replace the German test at the Baccalaureate exam

1. TEST YOUR GERMAN.
Come and get your German tested – allow one hour for the written paper and a short interview with a teacher. The minimum level required to sit one of the Goethe exams is B1 (intermediate). If you are at a lower level, you need to do a general language course first.

2. DO THE PREP COURSE.
While doing the preparation course you will improve all four language skills: writing, reading, listening and speaking.

3. TAKE THE EXAM. 
Register and sit the exam.

4. NOTIFY THE SCHOOL ABOUT YOUR QUALIFICATION.
During the registration period for the Baccalaureate, submit a certified copy of your Goethe certificate to the school secretariate.
